Christian Lange
Managing Director

Christian is an experienced executive within both the Australian and International resources industries, having spent over 25 years in executive and operational roles globally.

He has held an executive position for 17 years with a global oil and gas services company engaged in operations management throughout Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, the United Kingdom, Venezuela and the USA. Prior to establishing Condor Energy, Christian served for 5 years as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of an ASX listed global subsea services’ company.

Christian holds the positions of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer for Condor Energy and is the Chairman of Westug Pty Ltd.


Carter Dumont
Commercial Engineering Manager

Carter is an experienced Drilling and Completions Manager with a strong record of cost-effective engineering project completion. Carter previously worked for Origin Energy, where he had a diverse portfolio which included managing large scale contracts for drilling and completions and well stimulation projects across multiple business lines. Prior to Origin Energy, Carter was with Ensign International Energy and had roles in both operations and sales and marketing accounts. 

Carter joined Condor Energy Team in June 2018.



Martin Saura
Engineering & Well Interventions Manager

Martin is an experienced Petroleum Engineer with over 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. He has hands-on oilfield experience and he held engineering roles across completions, workover, production and well services areas in Australia and Argentina, both in E&P and services companies. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree.

Martin joined the Condor Team in July 2014.


James Hammond

NZ Service Manager

James has 12 years’ experience as an engineer in the oil and gas industry with extensive knowledge in hydraulic fracture stimulation. Prior to joining Condor James had 7 years with Halliburton as a frac engineer and frac diagnostics project manager. He has significant experience in unconventional plays in North America, Australia and more recently in New Zealand. He has been with Condor from the beginning with Beach Energy in the Cooper Basin and has managed Condor’s growth into New Zealand. James has built and continues to build an outstanding team of experienced personnel to set the benchmark in service quality to our New Zealand based clients.

Scott Knoblauch

Fracture Stimulation Manager

Scott has 15 years industry experience in numerous office and field roles. Specialising in fracture stimulation, coiled tubing well intervention, wireline operations, slick line operations, flow back and well testing, from an engineering / modelling perspective, to on site operational execution. Scott has worked in both operating and servicing sides of the industry.

During Scott’s time with Condor Energy he has excelled in a number of roles including B&D Manager SA, Field Coordinator, Compliance Officer, Team Leader Operations and now bringing his experience and expertise to Fracture Stimulation.



General Manager – Technology

Elham is a Chartered Petroleum Engineer who brings more than 20 years of technical and operational experience to the Condor team. He has extensive global experience in the design and evaluation of stimulation treatments in both conventional and unconventional reservoirs. He has worked on projects in Canada, the US, Mexico, Chile, New Zealand, Poland, India, Turkey, Australia, Siberia, Oman and Kazakhstan. His experience spans the various aspects of the upstream cycle, ranging but not limited to field development planning, consultation with government regulatory bodies for policy development for the oil and gas industry, reservoir and production engineering as well as operations. His technical ability is supported by extensive project management experience and leadership of multi-disciplinary teams of experts.

Elham has joined Condor Energy as the General Manager – Technology.



Adam Mroz
General Manager HSEQ

Adam is a highly qualified and experienced manager with 30 years in general management supported by a Masters degree in Management and Diplomas in Applied Science. A large proportion of his experience has been focused on Health Safety Environment and Quality including a long naval career culminating in the appointment to the position of Director of Navy Safety Systems. Post-Navy, Adam’s civilian experience has been at a senior executive level, holding concurrent positions of Group HSEQ Manager and General Manager HSEQ for two global marine services organizations operating in the Oil and Gas sector.

Adam joined Condor Energy in February 2014 as General Manager HSEQ.
