Wireline Operator
About the Role
Condor Energy Services is a growing and exciting business operating in the resource sector, with multiple locations across Australia and New Zealand. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Wireline Operator to support our growing operations in Australia.
As a Wireline Operator for Condor, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of wireline equipment. This role requires someone with 2+ years experience in the field.
Requirements
This role will require the successful candidate to work 12-hour shifts and an even-time roster in remote locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate wireline equipment, including logging tools, perforating guns, and other downhole instruments.
Ensure all equipment is maintained and calibrated according to company standards.
Troubleshoot and repair wireline equipment as necessary.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Conduct pre-job safety meetings and risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
Maintain accurate records of all operations, including tool usage, data collected, and maintenance performed.
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in wireline operations within the oil and gas industry
Strong understanding of wireline equipment and tools
Permit to Work
MC License (preferred)
Drivers License
Safe work at Heights
Additional multi-discipline experience across Coil Tubing / Cementing / Frac service lines will be looked upon favourably!
